Hello, I’m Nancy!  I’m so happy you are here.

Here is just a little about me.

Nancy and Bill 630

I currently live near Kansas City, KS, but had the joy of growing up on a farm.  Although I almost gave up looking for him, I was blessed to find and marry a wonderful, faith-filled man, who I never tire of talking to.  I used to teach, but when our first child was born in 2011, I became a full time stay-at-home mom, and I feel so blessed and lucky.  We eagerly welcomed another child into the family in 2012, our third the summer of 2014 and another child May of 2016. Boom, boom, boom, boom!  And, I hope that there are many more babies in our future too!

Josephine

I was raised Catholic, and continue to love the faith.  My faith governs my life as a mother, wife, friend, stitcher and blogger.  It is my everything.

My biggest downfall (or blessing?) is that I am compulsively creative.  This often robs me of sleep, but I love it, and I love blogging about it. If you look around you’ll discover that I particularly love embroidery, needlepoint, hand-stitching…whatever you want to label it.  I have a passion for making embroidery modern and relevant again.  Really, stitching can be hip.  Really! I also love making things for my kids.

I hope you are inspired by what you find here.  If looking leads to creating on your part, it would really make my day to see your completed project.  Please consider emailing me a picture, or sharing your creation on my facebook page.
