21 More Catholic Saints in Cross Stitch

Well, I’m back today with more saint cross stitch saint patterns–21 more to be exact.  Two weeks ago I released 40 Catholic Saints in Cross Stitch and I was amazed at the response.  I still am amazed.  In the past 2 weeks that pattern has sold over 300 times.  Isn’t it thrilling to think of all those people, all over the world, stitching up Catholic saints–or am I the only one that geeks out over Saints and Cross Stitch?

Well, today I have 21 more saints, and you can get the entire package for just $4!

Thank you to everyone that purchased the first group of patterns and thank you to everyone that reached out to me.  Not only were people excited to get stitching, but I got lots of request and suggestions for more patterns.  And they were good suggestions.  With each email and comment I kept thinking, “I can’t believe I didn’t do that saint,” or “yes, I should totally do that saint too!”

And so, I ended up with 21 more saint patterns.

First of all, I made patterns of several important patron saints that I really can’t believe I left out from the first package, including my own son’s patron saint:

Patron Saints

These saints include:

  • St. Matthew
  • St. Catherine Laboure (which I had to include after reading THIS)
  • St. Andrew
  • St. Anthony of Padua
  • St. Stephen
  • St. Thomas More
  • St. Raphael
  • St. Dominic

And then others pointed out that I really didn’t have very many images of Our Lady.  So, I had to fix that:

  • Our Lady of Lourdes
  • Our Lady of Mt Carmel
  • Immaculate Heart
  • Sacred Heart

Plus, my husband just got back from a two week business trip to Mexico.  While there he saw the Tilma and walked where Juan Diego walked.  So I had included St. Juan Diego and Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Our Lady of Guadalupe is included in the previous package of 40 Catholic Saints in Cross Stitch.

Probably the feedback that I took most seriously is that the first package of 40 saints didn’t include very much diversity.  Almost everybody in that package was white and European.  And that really bothered me.  So, I did some research, took some good suggestions and added a few really amazing saints from all over the world.  These saints set a new standard for bravery and complete and utter trust in the Lord.  Stitch up these saints and get to know them.  They are incredible.

Diverse Saints in Cross Stitch

  • St. Fr. Serra
  • St. Josephine Bakhita
  • St. Martin de Porres
  • St. Augustine Zhao Rong
  • St. Paul Miki
  • St. Charles Lwango
  • St. Damien of Molokai

And then, because I am just as thrilled as anyone over the canalization of St. Louis and Zelie Martin I just had to add them too.

And there you have it.  In the end there are 21 new patterns in this package.  I hope that these saints in cross stitch not only give you a fun project to work on, but help you to dive deeper into the lives of these holy men and women.  We have such wonderful examples of how to love and serve our Lord.  Let’s celebrate it (and stitch it) together!

Once again, if you’d like to purchase all 21 Catholic Saints in Cross Stitch you can get it HERE for only $4.

Thank you all, so much, for the support!
